PROCESSES.

Processes are the bridge from problem admiration to solution application. Many leaders and systems are in the habit of blaming people when things go wrong. Certainly, sometimes people are the source of problems. But most organizational errors and missteps don’t arise from people issues, rather, they emerge from process issues (i.e., usually a lack of processes). And the danger in the lack of processes is an institutional propensity toward the cult of personality - finding fault with people and individual behaviors or linking challenges to events instead of structures and practices. Effective leaders leverage strategy processes, organizational processes and people processes to improve execution and increase effectiveness. #LeadWithProcesses
